Michele Brown is based in Denver, Colorado. Brown studied art and illustration at the Pratt Institute in New York City. Her mission is to create beautiful work that others will enjoy. The work Brown does includes calligraphy, paintings, murals, live art and illustrations. Words to describe some of her work may include nostalgic, impressionism, realism, painting displaying richness of detail, whimsical, colorful, elegant and fun. She is an enthusiastic person with purposeful determination to achieve a finished work of art. Brown's identity as a mother and background in education has helped drive part of the focus of her business into arts education and art involving community. She loves engaging people to come together and beautify an area. A recent example would be the Evans Bridge Paint-By-Number mural where she designed a mural for community members of the Overland Park Neighborhood. This 3,500 square foot mural represents the whimsical and colorful characteristics of the neighborhood. With a layout straightforward enough, this allowed the public to complete the mural together. The results were amazing!
